Salon Colour Responsible Policy

Please read below about our allergy alert testing (skin testing) policy and what you should do if you are coming in to have your hair coloured.

As a colour responsible salon, we follow a Colour Responsible Policy for the safety and peace of mind of our clients and team members.

Allergy Alert Testing (patch testing) procedures safeguard our clients against

possible allergic reactions to the colour products we use.

If you are going to have your hair coloured with us, please make sure you have

a skin test at least 48 hours before your appointment.

We offer FREE in house Allergy Patch Tests (also known as skin testing) in our salon.

You will need to make an appointment, which can be book online or by phone

to attend the salon at least 48 hours before your hair colour service.

In particular, the following people must have a skin test:

-Those who have not visited the salon for 6 months or longer.

-Customers who are new to Scissors Hair Salon and would like their hair coloured.
